The Defining Challenge: Understanding the Fundamentals of Climate Change

Climate Change refers to significant, long-term shifts in global or regional climate patterns, a phenomenon primarily driven by human activities since the industrial revolution of the 1800s. At the heart of this crisis lies the Greenhouse Effect, a natural and essential process that regulates Earth’s temperature. The car’s interior absorbs this energy and radiates it back as heat (longwave radiation). However, the windows trap this heat, causing the temperature inside the car to rise dramatically. Internationally, India’s active participation in bodies like the SAWEN (South Asia Wildlife Enforcement Network) demonstrates its commitment to regional cooperation in combating illegal wildlife trade, a practice often linked to deforestation and environmental degradation.
